Mentor Program Curricular program faculty, mentors’ supervisors, and the QEP coordinator will formally assess mentor performance twice during the two-semester period. The first assessment will focus on improvement and program modification. Near the program’s conclusion, a final assessment will capture the overall success of the program, including mentors’ ability to provide innovative, solution-oriented approaches to development and implementation.
Professional Development Participants will rate development activities on effectiveness and relevance using CCCC’s Staff Development Evaluation. The evaluation will also include a space for suggestions for improvement. Mentors will evaluate their specialized training sessions in Summer 2008 using the same form as other development activities.
